Juwanna Mann was a young boy when he first became "inspired". He was in his home and exploring the attic of the family's expansive farm house in Hartford when he stumbled upon a box of basketball cards. Upon inquiring to his father, what these were, his father explained to him something almost mystical - basketball.
Juwanna Mann left the farm house at the age of 20, to head into the great unknown and try to make it to Greater Milwaukee where he heard there was black top for him to play basketball on all year long. With a small orange ball under his arm he set out.
He made it to Milwaukee by the time he was 22, and has not left since. He works the blacktop of the local schools for about 8 hours a day, rain or shine, sleet or snow.... Juwanna Mann is on the court.
